This morning at 7:20......
I couldn't help but take a picture of the sun just coming up and Isabella and how sweet she looked all ready for the day. Last night she lost another tooth and was just so excited to have 4 missing teeth at the same time. She was smiling from ear to ear, excited to show the class her new loss. Dad usually takes Isabella to school...but this morning was a trial run for Thursday and Friday because Donovan and I are going on a trip tomorrow morning. Isabella has a hard time with new things and so we were just working on the adjustments for riding the bus. She did great and had NO tears!

After I got Isabella on the bus, and later in the morning got Jack off to school......William, Suzy and I took my little sister Holly lunch at work. She only has 20 minutes for lunch so we usually eat in the van. Today we were celebrating Holly's 32nd Birthday. She requested Pizza Casserole, Applesauce, and Peanut Butter Pie. She is easy to please. Love Ya Holly!

Donovan had won this trip through work back in December to go to Las Vegas. So we are off in the morning and will be back Sunday. My little sweet Isabella left me this on my dresser.
It is a note for every day while we are gone.
And she also left this taped to the back. It reads: "money to spend" I couldn't help but peak inside. It was 50 cents. The exact amount we left her under her pillow last night for her tooth she lost. She MELTS my heart!
I still have packing to do and notes to write for the kids, instructions for Grandparents, and a bath to take. I gotta get off the computer! But I had to post something -my older sister Melissa was going postal on me about how long it had been since I had written on the blog. So here you are Melissa! :)

dearest sister i would have gone easy on you had i known about vegas baby, but am still glad you blogged. it so great to be apart of your day. ella reminds me so much of you its uncanny. you didn't have tears but mom would see your anguish and have you stay home on your first day of each school year, well most of them anyway. you are so wonderful in helping ella overcome these stumbling blocks. and of course i'll worry about you i do every time you travel. now i have you and my girls from here to worry about at the same time. oh well prayer is a wounderous thing wasn't God just so smart to come up with it??--love you~~melissa gail

Heather, have a good trip, or hope you had a good trip...in case you are too busy to see all the wonderful things people will say about Isabella. I enjoyed hearing from Melissa that you were so much that way, too. =) So sweet that those traits carry over. I don't know, but there are not too many children that would give money to their parents. What a tender heart she has!

Have a great time in Vegas - Remember - 'what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas' or something like that! Travel safe!
How sweet of Isabella to share w/you and if you drop it in the slots and win-guess what? you can share the profits w/her! She's thinking Momma! Have fun!

The note & money from Isabella was such a sweet thing she did for you. I have a feeling she's going to be a giver & encourager like her mama.

Hope you're having a wonderful time in Vegas and enjoying the alone time with your hubby.

I got to say hi to your kids last night at the Riverview basketball game. They were doing great with Grandpa & Grandma.
