This past weekend we took some family pictures at the request of Donovan's mama. We had a perfect day for some outdoor shots.

Just plain delighted to be
outside at
Grandpas with cousins. I think in a
child's mind...it can not get any better than that.

I'm pretty thrilled that my children are growing up with grandparents. Something I don't remember as a child, since my all 4 grandparents died when I was young.

The newest member of the family, Cale.
We also planted a garden...Our first in about 6 years. We had tried it in past years...but with having babies it was pretty hard to stay on top of the weeding/watering. So hopefully this will be a good project that will keep all my little peeps busy this summer.

We are trying a raised garden...Hopefully something will grow.

It was pretty cool to see all the enthusiasm of the kids. Jack seemed the most excited about putting the seeds in and covering them up.

We planted potatoes, carrots, radishes, green peppers, peas, and some flowers for cutting/decorating.
Quote of the day:
William: "Why are strangers bad?"
Me: "Because they don't have Jesus in their heart."
William: "WHAT? So that's the deal?"

Great pictures! Maybe you guys should come over and build me a raised garden/flower bed. Looks like you guys had a blast at the Grandparents house! Cale sure is getting big! Love the blog~keep them coming!
What a great lookin' family! Thanks for posting pictures.
Here's to hoping our gardens do well this summer (and that I remember to take care of mine!)
GREAT pics Heather! Is this at your house? It is beautiful!! Maybe next time I am in the area we can actually meet! :)
Great pictures, Heather. I'm glad for your kids that they have their grandparents as well. When I was little, I had 7 with greats and grands. I'm to the point that I only have 1 now, but I love her dearly and remember the others with sweet love. What a blessing to spend time with your family.
The outdoor family pictures are great!
I really like the idea of having a raised garden...it looks so neat. A friend of mine also has one and said that things grow a bit better in those. Have fun!
Cute pics!
Oh how I'd love to have a garden....things just don't grow well here in FL. Maybe I'll have luck in IL this summer.
Such a beautiful family Heather!
I love your green pics!
