you can go to the PumpkinVine Trail. We took our time getting ready this morning and then headed out with picnic in hand and drove to Goshen.
What was not such a great day for the dunes, ended up being a perfect day for biking the trail.
I think overall we estimated that we went about 4 miles.
It is absolutely beautiful.
It is so fun to be at the stage with our kids that they can withstand long amounts of biking.
The quote of the day comes from Jack just after this picture was taken.Donovan: "Jack it kinda looks like your dropping a deuce in this picture."
Jack: "Yep, I was... and it came out gold."
I sense the need for retraining coming on....

We rode until the end of the trail and here we are headed back. What a great family activity if you are in the Goshen area.

Wait until at least July to hit the dunes....you know that we are in northern Indiana and not Florida!?! lol
It looks like a fun day! We have the Rivergreenway here in FW. It's a great trail too. Laura has told me about the Pumpkinvine, but I've not been on it. Here's an idea for the future.......Kal-Haven trail. I think Sherri and Kevin did it last year. Maybe when your kids are older you could do combine bikes and going to the dunes. It was a fun thing to do with Matt and Mindy last year. Needless to say, I was the slowest on the 34 mile trek. Still a nice day, though.

Heather I love that trail! We go once a summer! The kids used to have trouble making it the whole way...now....they out do me:)

Cheryl...We've been on the Kal-Haven trail too. But after being on this one so close to home...we were like, "Why did we drive so far away when we have the same thing so close to home??" :)
